The Logistics Tradeoff Model is an analytical model designed to evaluate cost tradeoffs for various logistics alternatives in terms of impact on system availability. It can be used by any organization with logistics planning needs regarding inventory policy, offsite repair cycle, maintenance policy, repair against discard, contracted against inhouse maintenance, etc. This is a comprehensive users guide for the utilization of the model.
