Ejection Seat-Mounted Crewmember Restraint Integrated with Survival Vest and Flotation.

Abstract

The Navy is developing a flight restraint integrated with a survival vest and life preserver which is mounted on the aircraft ejection seat. This integration uses three standard items which are minimally modified. This development is intended to improve comfort for the crewmember and to simplify logistic support without sacrificing performance. (Author)
