Initial Development of an Air Deployed Acoustic Mooring (ADAM).

Abstract

The air deployed oceanographic mooring developed by ONR for scientific measurement has been enhanced by the development of key acoustic hardware, signal processing and increased satellite telemetry capability. The new components are fully compatible with the air deployed platform. Ambient noise measurements and SUS signal reception were the requirements.
