Implementation for GREAT I Study.

Abstract

This reports provides the Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District's perspective on the findings of GREAT I. The data and documents of the GREAT I report should be referred to for further details. The principal aspect of river management discussed is maintenance dredging of the 9-foot channel along the Mississippi River and tributaries upstream of Guttenberg, Iowa, and management problems which result from this dredging.
