The Application of Distributed System Architectures for Computer-Based Instructional Systems in the Naval Education and Training Command

Abstract

This report examines the technology of distributed data processing systems in terms of its application to Navy computer based instruction system implementaiton. It presents the concept of distributed systems, discusses the major components and design considerations, and considers the benefits of applying this technology to individualized instruction for Naval training.
