CAD/CAM Handbook for Polymer Composite Reliability. Volume II. Figures and Tables.

Abstract

Extensive data in tables and graphs are presented on mechanical, and other engineering properties used as failure criteria in this handbook of polymer composite reliability. The subject of polymer composites from the viewpoint of atomic and molecular models is introduced and discussed. Thus the origins of stiffness, strength, extensibility, and fracture toughness in composite materials were analyzed directly in terms of chemical composition and molecular structure. Computer models described the relations between chemical, physical and mechanical responses of polymer composites. (Author, modified-PL).
