Location and the Spectral Density Estimation of Multiple Sources

Abstract

A new nonparametric method for estimating the location and power spectral densities of multiple wideband sources from measurements provided by an array of sensors, is described. The proposed method treats with the same case multiple sources and multipath propagation. Direction-of-arrival estimation for wideband sources is obtained as a limiting case of the proposed method.
