Abstract

DMDC data have been analyzed for prior-service enlisted men who reentered the U.S. Navy during fiscal year 1978-1981. The characteristics of men in specific critical ratings are investigated. Difference between selected categories of ratings and geographical locations are identified through differing reentry levels and terms of enlistment for specific technical and craft ratings; time periods; and geographical areas.
