Interfacial Tension by the Drop Weight (Volume) Method: Effect of Drop Growth Rate.

Abstract

An investigation has been made of the effect on drop rate growth on the interfacial tension as determined by the drop weight method. A series of surfactant concentrations for two different surfactants - Aerosol OT and Witconate P10-59 - yielded data which allowed a corrective equation to be developed. (Author)
