Schlieren Study of an Electric Discharge in an Air Flow.

Abstract

Performance characteristics of an electric discharge in air are examined utilizing a Schlieren system. Tests are run under flow and no flow conditions and for crossflow/parallel-flow test sections in configurations analogous to those used in electric discharge convection lasers (EDCL's).
