A Cultural Resource Survey of the Offense Area of the Live Fire Maneuver Range, Fort Irwin, California.

Abstract

An on-foot survey of approximately 1,544 acres within the Fort Irwin Military Reservation resulted in the identification of two archaeological sites and 24 isolates finds. The sites, SBr-112 and SBr-4285 occur within a central six square kilometer area around No Name Playa. The survey was conducted and funded as part of a program of the United States Army for the development of a Live Fire Maneuver Range.
