Software Technology for Adaptable Reliable Systems (STARS). Functional Task Area Strategy for Human Resources.

Abstract

The primary objective of the human resources task area is to improve personnel resources. This primary objective is based on the two objectives, increase the level of expertise and expand the base of the expertise available to DoD. This task area is a direct attack by DoD and industry on improving human resources within the software field. Broadly stated, the objectives would be satisfied by defining software-related job knowledge, skills, and abilities; software-related education and training. The target audience includes personnel in software engineering and management.
