Thin Film Gages for Ignition and Combustion Experiments

Abstract

Thin film gages are of use in studies on the ignition and combustion of gas propellants. The work described in this report covers fabrication and calibration techniques for thin film gages on several substrates. These gages are intended to determine heat flux values in an experiment on the convective ignition of solid propellants.
