Argentina: A Country Study

Abstract

This paper is a condensed version of a comprehensive country study and appraisal of Argentina. It dwells heavily on the historical background of the country to enable the reader to better appreciate the reasons behind the actions of the Argentines. Also included is a synopsis of the current government, economy and political parties of Argentina, US-Argentina relations, and recommendations on what US foreign policy should be towards Argentina.
