MAGNA (Materially and Geometrically Nonlinear Analysis). Part III. Postprocessor Manual.

Abstract

Three computer graphics programs, designed to present the results of finite element structural analysis in a readily assimilated form, are described. The first, GPLOT, performs plotting of original and/or deformed mesh geometries. A second program, CPLOT, produces contour or relief maps of displacement, strain, or stress results. These two programs are command-driven and offer a wide variety of display options. The third program, XYPLOT, generates variable-versus-variable plots with user-defined labeling, symbols, titling, and plot size. The graphics programs are operational with Tektronix and Hewlett-Packard display devices, on CDC and VAX machines.
