Computer Program with Interactive Graphics for Analysis of Plane Frame Structures (CFRAME). Revision,

Abstract

This report documents and describes the use of the general-purpose computer program CFRAME for analysis of plane frame structures. The intent was to develop an easy-to-use program incorporating the best features of many similar programs and to provide the many additional capabilities required by a diverse group of users. CFRAME utilizes the stiffness method of structural analysis. The Cholesky decomposition method is used to solve the resulting matrix equation. Automatically generated routines ar available to simplify the data input. Graphic display of the input data is also available. The output may be printed or displayed with graphics. (Author)
