The Post-Processing Approach in the Finite Element Method. Part 3. A Posteriori Error Estimates and Adaptive Mesh Selection.

Abstract

This paper is the final in a series of three in which the authors have discussed a finite element post-processing technique. Here they shall deal with the questions of adaptive mesh selection and a posteriori error estimation. Some numerical examples computed by the FEARS program will be used to illustrate the approaches taken. (Author)
