On the Reliability of Repairable Systems.

Abstract

The problem of time to first failure for repairable coherent systems of independent exponential components is discussed. Several inequalities are derived and related to previous work of the author and of Keilson to obtain approximations with error bounds for the distribution of the time to first failure. (Author)
