Mutagenic Potential of: 4-Nitrophenyl Monochloromethyl (Phenyl) Phosphinate (CMP).

Abstract

The mutagenic potential of 4-nitrophenyl monochloromethyl (phenyl) phosphinate (CMP) was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity assay. Tester strains TA 98, TA 100, TA 1535, TA 1537 and TA 1538 were exposed to doses ranging from 1 mg/plate to 3.2 x 10 to the minus 4th power mg/plate. It was determined that the test substance did not have mutagenic potential. (Author)
