Instrumentation for Protective Structures Testing.

Abstract

Selected stress and motion parameters associated with test input stimulus, free-field response, and specimen structure responses are identified as measurands in simulation testing of Air Force protective structures. For each measurand, the correspending sensor and sensing technique used by the AF is illustrated and briefly described. Observed performance is noted and other factors reveal implementation guidelines.
