Indian Creek Pumping Station Hydraulic Prototype Tests, Mankato, Minnesota.

Abstract

Tests were conducted to obtain data pertaining to the hydraulic performance of the facility and to verify portions of the model study results. The test program measured floor pressure fluctuations directly below the pump intakes, flow distribution in the sump entrance, and pump column vibrations. Data reduction and analysis indicated small floor pressure fluctuations, generally uniform flow distribution, and insignificant pump column vibrations. In most cases, the prototype test data compared favorably with model findings.
