Fundamental Study of Nuclear Pumped Laser Plasmas.

Abstract

Although there have been many activities during the preceding report periods, this interim report will restrict itself to the theoretical prediction of a new laser amplifier process and experimental evidence for the existence of the process. This special report is being generated because this new laser processor may have significant impact on nuclear pumped lasers, as well as high power (and high energy) laser systems in general.
