African Doppler Surveys (ADOS).
Abstract
This report outlines a brief summary of the work, as of 15 June 1983, performed by the Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) under the African Doppler Survey (ADOS) project. In order to utilize the many Doppler surveys already completed (prior to ADOS) in Africa, a detailed search of the DMA's data bank was carried out during January-March 1983. The existing data, which showed promise of meeting the ADOS technical specification, were carefully sorted out, processed, computed and released to other ADOS Computing Centers. (Author)
