Preliminary Operating Assessment Advanced Heat Recovery Incinerator (HRI). Site One. O'Connor Combustor Corporation.

Abstract

This brief evaluation of the first O'Connor (rotary waterwell) Combustor plant built in the U.S.A. describes design features and considerations as well as initial operating advantages and difficulties. A brief general description of a co-located, proprietary fuel preparation system is included. The major conclusion presented alludes to a waste fuel availability requirement approaching 60 tons per day (tpd) for probable cost-effectiveness of this technology. (Author)
