Linear Rank Procedures for Matched Observations.

Abstract

General procedures are developed for matched designs in which the observations are subject to censorship on the right. The asymptotic distributions of these procedures are presented and proved. Various special cases are compared by Monte Carlo simulation. These methods are particularly applicable to epidemiological matched survival studies in which each case is matched to several controls.
