ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) Management at DCA,

Abstract

The purpose of this task has been to assess logistic support management in the Defense Communications Agency. The report documents our advice on establishing ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) policy within DCA and suggests a method for ILS implementation consistent with the DoD system acquisition framework. The suggested methodology is contained in Appendix A. It is equally applicable to both major and less-than-major systems and places strong emphasis on supportability in the earliest phases of system acquisition. (Author)
