Nuclear Warfare Water Contamination.
Abstract
The fallout contamination of watersheds and water supplies resulting from surface burst nuclear weapons is sufficiently high to require the use of water purification equipment to produce potable water that meets the current radiological water quality standards. Problems with existing radiation detection and monitoring equipment are discussed. A water contamination model is described. (Author)
