Prediction of Crack Growth Aqueous Environments.

Abstract

This first annual progress report describes the current status of a research program to develop a predictive model for stress corrosion cracking and corrosion fatigue. Our approach is to simultaneously characterize the electrochemical and mechanical state of the crack during the failure process.
