Combat Vehicle Test Beds: A Study of the Use of Test Beds in the Development of Combat Vehicles

Abstract

This study examines the role of test beds in the development of combat vehicles with particular reference to the current problems created by the rapid advances in combat vehicles and related technologies. Test beds represent the only means by which some of the major aspects of new vehicle concepts can be addressed, both by their developers and by their potential users in a practical and unambiguous way.
