Acute Dermal Toxicity Potential of (E)-1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-6-Methyl-1-(2-Methyl-1-Oxo-2-Butenyl) Quinoline (CHR 5) in Rabbits.

Abstract

The acute dermal toxicity potential of (E)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6-methyl-1-(2-methyl-1-oxo-2-butenyl) quinoline (CHR5) was determined in rabbits using abraded skin sites and plastic covering over the exposed areas for 24 hours. No animals died or showed clinical signs of toxicity. This compound should be exposed to further toxicological testing for human use potential. (Author)
