A Guide to Managing Recreational Boating Areas.

Abstract

This guide is intended to be used by anyone managing a recreational boating area, especially those persons working at the state and local level. Traffic patterns, time zoning, activity zoning, warning/information systems, and access limitation are discussed and illustrated. Guidelines for developing a management plan are presented and discussed. The step for implementing a management plan are also presented and discussed. (Author)
