Real-Time Processing System for the NRL (Naval Research Laboratory) Remote Sensing Experiment: Phelps Bank, July, 1982.

Abstract

A data acquisition and analysis system was implemented to collect multi-channel time-series data at a slow rate (.5 Hz for this implementation) for extended periods (days), quality check the data, and provide real-time output of environmental parameters and data quality assessments. During acquisition and processing, constants, data channels and processing algorithms can be altered by the operator in real time without interrupting data flow and processing. This report describes this system, contains a users guide to the system and gives examples of the outputs.
