Abstract

The reconnaissance plan of improvement for Lake View consists of the following: (1) Clearing and snagging of an era in Bear Swamp 50 feet wide from the mouth of the unnamed tributary to the Bear Swamp Bridge located approximately 6000 feet downstream; (2) Enlargement of the unnamed tributary six feet deep and 20 feet wide from a fork in the stream just below 4th Street to its confluence with Bear Swamp, a distance of approximately 1200 feet; (3) Local sponsor would be required to enlarge the two forks located upstream of the Federally financed improvements, to a depth of five feet and a width of 10 feet with existing culverts replaced by five-foot RCP culverts. The east bank would extend upstream approximately 750 feet to a large pond at 6th Avenue while the east bank would extend above Kemper Street, a total distance of 2000 feet.
