A System Analysis and Design for Updating the Internal Tracking of the Quality Deficiency Reporting System at the Navy's Fleet Material Support Office.

Abstract

This study provides the needed cost/benefit analysis, utilizing a standard systems analysis, to update the tracking of the Quality Deficiency Reporting System at the Navy's Fleet Material Support Office, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This Thesis analyzes the present system, proposes an alternative manual process, establishes an interim Management Information System, and an analysis and proposal for an automated system using the concept of a local area network.
