An Analysis of Zoning and Other Problems Affecting the Establishment of Group Homes for the Mentally Disabled.

Abstract

Sponsors face an array of problems in their attempts to establish group homes for the mentally disabled. This report discusses these problems and provides perspective on their relative significance to those seeking to aid the mentally disabled to live in group homes. It also discusses the effects State preemptive zoning laws have had on group home establishment. (Author)
