Efficient Utilization of the Drama Service Channel.

Abstract

The DRAMA service channel must provide communications for a variety of users. The architectural implications of configuring the network using conventional multiplexers are examined and several feasible implementations are presented. A high speed communications processor that can be used as a service channel controller is described. Networks configured with the service channel controller provide greater reliability and flexibility than the multiplexer networks. (Author)
