Special Warfare: A Selected Bibliography.

Abstract

To assist student researchers in a better understanding of a defense subject undergoing a serious revival of interest and emphasis both within the Army and the current Administration, the USAWC (United States Army War College) Library has developed this bibliography of literature on special warfare. The bibliography focuses primarily on unconventional warfare--to include guerrilla warfare--and counterinsurgency, with emphasis on U.S. experience in these fields since the early 1950'S.
