Installation Restoration Program. Phase 1 - Records Search, Travis AFB, California

Abstract

This report covers the first (Phase I) part of the Installation Restoration Program (IRP) confirmation study at Travis AFB, CA. This study was directed by the Department of Defense. The overall objective of the IRP is to identify and evaluate past disposal sites and to control the migration of hazardous environmental contamination resulting from such sites. This work will be followed by a Phase II effort to determine if migration is occurring and if so, in what quantities.
