Research on Composite Materials for Structural Design.

Abstract

Summarized are research activities related to advanced fiber reinforced plastics in the areas of fracture, delamination, distributed damage, residual stresses, moisture effects, and toughening mechanisms in elastic and viscoelastic materials. Also included are nine papers and abstracts of three M.S. Theses describing recently completed work in these areas.
