Abstract

The overall purpose of this public involvement program was to achieve three goals: To solicit opinions and perceptions of problems, issues, concerns, and needs from the public; their preferences regarding water resource use and plan development; and any other information and assistance relevant to the planning process; To promote public understanding of the manner and means by which water resource problems and needs are investigated and solutions proposed; and to keep the public fully informed regarding the status and progress of the study, and the results and implications of planning activities.
