Metropolitan Washington Area Water Supply Study. Appendix H. Bloomington Lake Reformulation Study. Volume 1.

Abstract

The purposes of the Bloomington Lake Reformulation Study were twofold: to investigate the full water supply capability of the recently completed Bloomington Lake Project using the authorized low flow augmentation storage (water supply and water quality) and to determine an optimum reservoir regulation strategy given the current conditions; and to determine the feasibility of reallocating part of the water quality storage and/or a portion of flood control storage to water supply storage to furnish additional storage capability for MWA water demands.
