Optical Properties of Metals.

Abstract

This report is composed of the several papers published or presented as a result of research conducted in this program. Included are papers on single and multiple pulse laser induced damage to diamond turned mirrors, the role of roughness in determining metal surface absorption and damage, a model for multiple pulse damage based on the accumulation of plastic stress, infrared laser stimulated desorption and scattering on molybdenum surfaces.
