Methodology for the Calculation of a Shallow-Water Wave Climate.

Abstract

This report describes the methodology employed to generate 20 years of wave conditions in 10-m water depths as part of the Wave Information Study. Descriptive techniques (time series plots, cross plots, and percent occurrence plots) are employed to compare recorded and computed wave heights and periods at six locations along the Atlantic coast.
