Software Maintainability Factors for the ATC System Computer Replacement Program.

Abstract

The purpose of the Software Maintainability Factors Study is to identify detail elements of software design and development that enhance the maintainability of the resulting software product. As part of the Software Maintainability Factors Study, the extensive literature on software maintainability has been surveyed and key concepts that deal with maintainability factors have been synopsized. These approaches are then analyzed in the light of specific requirements of the Air Traffic Control environment. (Author)
