Installation Restoration Program. Phase 1 - Records Search, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska

Abstract

This report identifies the areas that require additional study to determine their potential for contamination of the local ground water aquifer. A total of 28 sites were studied and rated using the Hazard Assessment Rating Methodology which is discussed in the report. The resulting ranking identified 11 on-base sites for further study. These sites are identified on maps and in writing. Detailed recommendations are provided for future study of these sites in Phase 2 of the IRP Studies. 18 Tables and 29 Figures are included to aid in understanding the report.
