A Catalogue of Spreading Modulation Spectra.

Abstract

Spreading modulation waveforms are discussed in general terms, and a classification system is described. Several well-known examples are given, and a new, standard set of spreading modulations is introduced. Spectra of all the waveforms are given, and spectral properties are discussed in relation to system performance. It is shown that these properties are essentially determined by three waveform parameters, for a large class of spreading modulations. (Author)
