The Rediscovery and Analysis of the Cultural Significance of Magnetic Anomalies River Miles 93.0-93.7 and 98.2-99.5 Apalachicola River, Florida.

Abstract

In July 1983 representatives of the Mobile District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, State of Florida Division of Archives, History and Records Management and a consultant archeologist investigated 6 clusters of magnetic anomalies in the Apalachicola River, Florida. All of the anomalies were identified by divers and were determined to be modern debris.
