Asynchronous Discrete Control of Continuous Processes.

Abstract

This research concerns the analysis and synthesis of asynchronous discrete-state or hybrid-state feedback compensators for continuous or hybrid-state processes. New realization theories for asynchronous discrete systems, based on automata and semigroup theory, have been derived. These theories suggest new architecture for asynchronous systems. (Author)
