Abstract

The review presented in the following pages represents an overview of the more prominent manufacturing and refining processes for generation of liquid products from coal. Some of the problems associated with the processes and products are discussed as well as methods for analysis and characterization. An annotated bibliography is included to provide the reader with immediately available literature references if more specific details are required. (Author)
