A New Approach to Polymer Chemistry: Organometallic and Bioactive Phosphazenes.

Abstract

Polyphosphazenes are prepared by a substitutive process the involves nucleophilic displacement reactions on poly(dihalophosphazenes). A variety of strategies are described for the utilization of this approach for the preparation of polymeric drugs and polymer-bound transition metal systems. (Author)
